These contemporary earrings are for the art jewelry lover. Sterling silver has been folded and formed around the pink gemstones. The Rhodochrosite stones are good quality, represented by their salmon colour and "bacon slice" patterning. One stone has a slight dent and inclusion which is stabilized and unseen unless pointed out. The price reflects this slight flaw.
The extensive "folding" process used to create these earrings is called "fold forming". It involves heating the metal to a point where it softens, manipulating it with hammers and other tools which hardens it. This process is repeated (a dozen times for these) until the desired shape is achieved. Then the metal is smoothed and polished , the wires are soldered to the earrings and and the stones are set.
